A dreamy trip

I’m 25 years late to this party. I’d heard Constant Craving on the radio back in the day and loved it but stupidly didn’t stop to take a closer listen to kd and the rest of this album. By sheer luck I found myself at her show on the Ingenue redux tour and was mesmerized. Her voice and her musicians were so amazing and spellbinding that I immediately bought this album after the show and haven’t stopped listening to it since. Album perfection. It’s fun yet soothing somehow. I can’t find the words to say how much I love this record.

k.d. lang's voice is a class all its own. This brilliant visit brings a depth and clarity that is rare in vocals today.

This album so perfectly suited k.d. langs voice. Everything before this was uninspiring twang, and everything since this album has been mediocre pop. But Ingenue was a moment of absolute perfection, highlighted by the genius of "Constant Craving". Every track is a gem, but my favorites have always been "Season of Hollow Soul" and "Mind of Love".
Great album!

I loved the original album in 1992. The live recordings only make it better! Ingenue has really stood the test of time. A classic!
