Awesome combination of rock and electronic

I’m a fan of both rock and electronic music, so I think this album is a good blend of the two. I’m in love with Ouch and Wonderful Life, but the whole album is phenomenal. Been a fan of these guys since middle school, and I’m excited for more of this style.
Not my cup of tea but that’s ok

It’s a little too poppy for me. I live for the type of stuff their older music had, but if they are happy making this kind of music good for them. It just wasn’t for me. I hope other fans enjoyed it though :)
Great Album

I know this is a heavy metal band, but the song Heavy Metal is basically making fun of all the people that don’t like the crossover songs. Great album.
Love Mother tongue lol

There’s something strangely relaxing about this album. I love that the band experiments with different styles, yet can still bring the grit and heaviness where needed. It’s a sound that truly allows you to escape into it and get away.
Love love love

Don’t get me wrong. I like the music, it’s something new. I guess it’s just completely different. It’s not my favorite but I do like it for different moods. Their 2020 album is a major step up though! Always a fan!
I support these guys forever.

They’re doing what they want and actually have the guts to put out material that breaks down every wall they have built up. The only thing I hate is they’re losing a lot of their fan base and sadly will lose momentum with this album, but as long as they’re happy so am I.
Actual review:
It's dark, intense and very chaotic/messy, but that’s what I love about it. It feels fresh in every way, and makes something interesting. Nihilistic Blues was one hell of a trip, and made me throw any expectation I had for this album out the window. Even with all the hate I can still see past all the bias crap and realize that it’s a genius tease of an album. Although a few songs didn’t hit the mark for me more than half did.
Score: 8/10
Love it

Honestly, it’s my favorite BMTH album. Super different and refreshing. It’s like they created their own genre.
