I’ve listened to and/or watched every Broadway Brigadoon cast. I’ve even performed in the show in the past. This performance and recording are the BEST versions I have ever heard hands down. It will make your heart melt! Beautiful

Brigadoon - in plot - has certainly lost some of its luster somewhere around the turn of the century (poor Harry), but this cast album proves the music is still good, often gorgeous and, thanks to the gifts of Kelli O’Hara, sometimes glorious. Stirring orchestrations, moving harmonies and an earnest cast of talented actors, led here by O’Hara and the solid Patrick Wilson, make this album THE preeminent recording of Brigadoon. Highlights include “Waitin’ for My Dearie,” “The Heather on the Hill,” “Come to Me, Bend to Me,” and “Almost Like Being in Love.” O’Hara’s emotional plea in “From This Day On/Farewell Music” will leave a lump in your throat and a tear in your eye. One of my favorite shows! I love this cast!!

THIS is something I have dreamed of for a long time; a recording worthy of this gorgeous score. This one soars. Vocal performances are outstanding and the original choral arnd orchestral arrangements are captured here as never before. The show may be flawed, partiulalrly the second act, but this, in my opinion, is the definitive Brigadoon. After the Lincoln Center My Fair Lady, earlier this year, we now have two gold-standard recordings of Lerner & Loewe's best scores.

A true Broadway musical classic of Lerner & Lowe, re-interpreted & re-visited for the modern audience as only Kelli O’Hara can do!!! She was born to sing this beautiful music! Love her & this wonderful cast! THANK YOU! 💛
