It goes like this: The Soft Bulletin, Yoshi and then this album. Classic Lips and a must have. One of the best records I’ve heard. Check it out and see the band if you can. Just saw this tour. Wow.

THE FLAMING’S ARE A GENIUS BAND FILLED BEYOND THE BRIM WITH GENIUS AND FRIVOLITY IN EQUAL MEASURE,ALONG WITH AN ABSTRACT SENSE OF THE MADNESS OF A WORLD🌍THAT IS FOREVER ON THE BRINK OF SPINNING WILDLY OUT OF CONTROL!WITH THEIR LATEST”KINGS MOUTH:MUSIC AND SONGS” ILLUSTRATING THIS DICHOTOMY TO NEAR PERFECTION!IS THE KING 👑 AND HIS COURT REALLY A EUPHEMISM FOR TRUMP AND HIS DIM-WITTED COALITION——-WHO KNOWS?BUT,THE “GIANT 👶 BABY”IN THE SONG SURE SOUNDS LIKE”THE DONALD,”AND THE PARABLE OF HIS BIG EMPTY HEAD DEFINITELY RINGS ALARM 🚨 🔔 BELLS.
MICK JOBES SOUNDS COOL AS THE NARRATOR.

A welcome return to memorable melodies, some truly beautiful sonic landscapes and for once in a LONG time a Lips album that isn't mastered so loud it distorts even at the lowest of volumes. 'All for the Life of the City' is an instant classic.
THANK You

SUCH an improvement over the last few records, and a return to the form of the classic Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.

Wayne already admitted his fondness for the Dykeritz album "Madrigals." This is a "homage" to the songwriting prowess in the style of: in Wayne's Words... "Epic mind Blown" songs of typically Reclusive songwriter Dykeritz. FYI, Wayne was Right...."Madrigals" is epic songwriting, and So is this New Lips Album!!!! Rebirth!!!! Turn it UP!!!!!!!!!!!

Having already listened to this album countless times after purchasing the vinyl on Record Store Day in April of this year, I can tell you that this is a return to classic Yoshimi era Lips with all of their latest influences to color it. What an enjoyable and concise record. I love all directions the Flaming Lips have gone - with Embyronic and The Terror being some of my favorite albums ever made - but this record is fun, psychedelic lips at their finest.
