People on here need to educate themselves! Jazz gave birth to Hip Hop and all Hip Hop isn’t negative! It’s a beautiful art form, in relation to poetry! The rap artist on here are talented. I guess some of y’all cry babies didn’t like his, “Black Music” album! The only thing I don’t care for is the profanity.

I'm a BIG Robert Glasper fan. I don't know who this artist is?? Is this a joke? Hopefully this is just an artistic outburst/experiment and it's over now. Robert is better than this, Jazz is better than this. No long list of A-listers collabing on this one....not surprised. A long way from Black Radio....

Skip the intro & this album is truly masterful and FILLED with lyrical truths from the depths of the soul. It’s definitely worth buying. I listened to several tracks on YouTube.
I normally don’t care for cursing too much but I understand why he used it when you hear the lyrics of the songs. It just makes sense. This is very well done & very well thought out.
& The music is amazing.

Robert Glasper has been one of my very favorite jazz musicians. This CD is PURE CRAP. The fact that he now bows down to explicit songs and includes rap has brought him to the bottom of the heap.
He is too talented for this.
