Can't say much for Standing Room Only, but Event Horizon was amazing. Maybe the addition of Calyx is to blame???

So I just open my e-mail and and click on an iTunes receipt, and this was a reccomendation for me. Amazing. "Standing Room Only"... Incredible. I can't even begin to explain. It may be a little chaotic, but that's drum and bass baby! Please give these songs a try, you will NOT regret it.

Wow. Now, I may not have purchased a Violence Recordings artist track in a good year ("Neo" was my last), but I've learned what to expect from Hive, Gridlok, Keaton and the crew. This EP is certainly no disappointment, and it gave me exactly what I was looking for--and then some. "Standing Room Only" was like a world-class marching band of simple, sweeping woodwind melodies and ripping, thrashing percussion and bass. An exhilirating experience, though it makes me feel a bit down when it ends so soon. :P "Event Horizon" was amazing in a slightly different way. The entire way through the song, I was picturing this music playing the background as the lone agent/hero infiltrates the gigantic, metalworks base of the big bad guy. The heavy machinery and whatnot, carry on. Then, right when the smashing beat comes in is where the explosions and high-stakes shootout between good and evil begins. An outstanding Drum 'n' Bass EP all around, though it's difficult to tell where and what D-Bridge, Break & Silent Witness contributed in their featured track.

A great song... Gridlok on his own is a fantastic producer but together with Hive they've made something very special here... D-Bridge's more melodic style fits perfectly... 5 out of 5!

These two songs are really good. They're interesting, not to long, not to short. However, they may get a little to chaotic for me. Normally then, I'd give it a 4, but the songs seem pretty creative, so I bumped it back up to a 5. All in all, I'd listen to these anytimes.
