Indian Ocean has its unique voice, rhythm and beat. I saw them live in Washington D.C. and felt why they are considered the greatest band from India. Played loud or soft you’ll enjoy the experience. I especially like the electric bass and folk tabla jazz-folk mix, which captures Rahul’s distinctive bass lines, like a torrent over river stones. Their music has an intensity that is riveting.

I had the pleasure to meet these guys back in the summer of 1999. I was amazed at their style of music back then! I have had this cassette since 99' and have played it so many times, it finally broke today. I am SO happy ITUNES recognized this band!! Just pure groove, ecclectic beats and amazing musicianship!!
