This album is a perfect blend of subtle pleasantries wrapped in a succinct, warm, cozy blanket of precision. Lay back and ride this carpet of joy.

I thought I'd give Lindsey a try and purchased this new album. I find her singing with black affectations sounds false and annoying. She sounds the same, using her voice the same way in each song. She's done a few albums so it not her first time out. I suppose she has a fan base that likes her and I'm glad for that. She has a nice voice, it's the way she uses it that I have a problem. The other complaint I have are the songs, the lyrics are annoying, not interesting.

I can't stop listening to this album! I love the vibe and Lindsey's voice is beautiful, especially in the song Reasons. Wow! I love the relaxed music that is so beautifully pulled together with all the amazing musicians, keyboards, guitar, trumpet...so good! And yes I love the mixture of different genres...some R&B, some soul, some rap!, some jazz...wonderful. Great for listening in the car

For a soulful grove seldom matched in today’s often hectic landscape, kick back and chill to the vibe and voice of one Lindsey Webster. Equal parts elegance, equal parts power, Lindsey weaves a blend of vocal stylings—reminiscent of some of the best female vocalists of any era—across an intriguing tapestry of jazz, R&B, soul, and yes, even hints of rock n’ roll. With stand-in efforts from Brian Culbertson and Kev Choice, “Reasons” is an apt word for why this album will soon be a favorite in your collection.
