Great to see how he’s grown as an artist.

I had absolutely no idea. I mean, I’d heard the name. I’d seen the face. I’d heard “My My My!” passively a few hundred times. It was hearing “Rush” (and its “these lyrics probably won’t mean anything to you unless you’re in the know”) that made me stop and listen to the entire album. Holy crap, it’s nothing short of spectacular. I’m older, so George Michael was the gay artist I gravitated towards because of his songwriting and voice, but I might just have a new queer artist for whom to root. Michael once said that he wasn’t “interested in selling records to people who are homophobic.” Sivan seems to be taking that sentiment to new heights, and his authenticity should be celebrated. The Recording Academy would be wise to consider this for Album of the Year.

From humble beginnings, uploading videos on YouTube, to becoming an international star. Troye Sivan continues to demonstrate how he created his own path. In an ever-changing world, where one minute you’re relevant and the next you’re not, he still manages to prove himself. A truly great example of manifesting your dreams.

As always Troye delivers with a fusion of sentimental pop songs infused with club bangers. A delicate balance that he strikes quite well.

10’s across the board for a once in a lifetime artist…please continue to always make music Troye! The lgbtq community needs you and your music, now and always.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the music from beginning to end. It’s just too short. I need AT LEAST 10 more minutes!!!!
