I listened to the album twice and reviewed Shaboozey’s full body of work, (at least as available on Apple Music). Overall; I really enjoyed the album. Some songs seemed similar but the further I went the more things settled into a “country-reflected” sound. How to define “Country” will give a variety of answers. I’d strongly recommend viewing Ken Burns’s PBS Country Music for a very good analysis. I say welcome to country music Shaboozey. I hope you’re just not dabbling but will create future albums that fit into the Country genre, (again; check-out Ken Burns). You opened my eyes and ears; and for that I say Thank you!

Not my favorite songs or singer, IN MY OPINION, THIS MUSIC SHOULD HAVE BEEN CATEGORIZED AS CROSSOVER MUSIC BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE IS DOING A LOT OF COVER SONG’S FROM BACK IN THE MID ~LATE 80’s .
