The music playing when Pocahantas is presented to King James and Queen Anne is called "Melt Earth to Sea." It's from the Album "The Masque of Oberon (reconstruction)" - performed by the Musicians of the Globe, which unfortunately isn't available here, but will turn up with a quick google search of the title.

I love the song Listen to the wind!! I am a huge Hayley Westenra fan and I think that song is wonderful! I don't want the whole album!!! Could someone PLEASE tell me how to get that song without getting the whole album!

I am obsessed with this movie and now this soundtrack!!!! The music is so peaceful and fulfilling. I especially like the song Pocahontas and Smith. It's so beautiful it makes me want to cry!!! So buy this soundtrack if u like it or love it!! Don't give it a second guess!!!!

OMG mr. horner is a genius when it comes to music. the only issue i have is just buying the whole album but it was totally worth it.

I love this score I just want a few of the songs so I don't want to buy the WHOLE album. Pocahontas and Smith & An Apparition are by far my favorites. I wish iTunes would change it so I can buy only those two, I don't know how else to buy this music...anyone know?

Firstly, I thought this was an excellent work. There was very little PC "historical" revisionism ... which in itself is refreshing. BUT !!!!! I have been driven to distraction trying to find out what the name and recording of the GORGEOUS vocal music playing when Pocohantas is presented to King James and Queen Anne. If there is any kind soul that would post it for me .... I'll add you to my prayer list for a week : )

I BOUGHT THIS ALBUM BECAUSE I WANTED THE MAIN THEME WHICH IS PLAYED THOUGH OUT THE FILM. THE PIECE OF MUSIC WHEN POCAHONTAS IS ON HER DEATHBED AND ROLFE IS NARRATING THE STORY OF HER DEATH TO HIS SON IS NOT ON THIS ALBUM.. YOU CAN BUY THE SONG WHICH IS ---"Das Rheingold-Vorspiel" {BY WAGNER}----

This album really creates a unique world all its own...even apart from the film. James Horner has an incredible way of making music that summons the deepest of feelings and invites the listener to share in his emotional exploration of life's rises and falls. Like the movie, I had to experience this music more than once to truly appreciate and understand it's complex beauty, but Horner's soundtrack successfully captures the discovery, wonder, beauty and despair found in both "The New World" and life itself. A true masterpiece.

I thought this movie was incredibly beautifeul. I wish we could buy it on itunes... I WOULD! but the music just makes your heart ache with its beauty. My personal favorite is Rolfe Proposes. It's delicacy is wonderful. I thought Kilcher and Farell did excellent in the movie and Horner is just as AMAZING composer! Well done!
