Like a smoky night en la playa around a techno-bonfire...Where's Vol. 2?
If you like chill and electronica, and dig swinging caribbean rhythms, this is for you. Even the slight touches of hip-hop (in Huepajé) work. Aterciopelados probably started this way back on Caribe Atómico, but this is far more focused in it's purpose to take you on a laid-back trip using authentic colombian cumbia (not the mexican selena variety!). Use of electronica is tasteful and doesn't overwhelm the traditional sounds, but complements them.
