The quality of the musicianship displayed by E. Power Biggs on this album is amazing. Coupled with the sound of the Harvard Organ, and a good recording quality this album is hard to beat. Great version of the "little" fugue too. One could spend a lifetime learning these timeless masterpieces and it would be a life well spent. RIP Mr Biggs.

I love Bach's organ works (favorite is toccata & fugue). I always enjoy listening too and contemplating Bach's fugues. My favorite piece to listen too on this album is Fugue in G minor (The Little).

If you like Bach, and the big, dramatic Harvard University pipe organ, this album is amazing.... I grew up listening to it in the 60's, and never tire of it. Biggs' playing is near flawless. I'm grateful the album is reissued digitally!
