My high school handbell choir played "Soliloquy for Bells" over 6 years ago for a state competiton which we recieved a 1st place placement. I loved it then and I was thrilled to find it on itunes today.

While the 3 symphonic tracks are less handbell, more symphony, the rest of this dazzling collection is an exploration of the possibilities of handbell choirs. Ranging from complex, sparkling reinventions of traditional songs like "Joy to the World" and "Ave Maria" to the less-heard classical pieces, the choir is like a single instrument, a seamless river of beautiful noise. This culminates in the "Soliloquy for Bells" -- the tones of the bells blend and intertwine almost magically.
