I’m not a baby

I sang these songs as a child! Including the one about The old man who went to bed and bumped his head and didn’t get up in the morning. And I’m just fine. And as far as the Christian undertones go… or whatever, these are great songs for children to sing and they love them so sometimes we need to overlook our beliefs for our children or what bothers us and let our children have a little fun. Quit worrying about everything so much!

Disappointed that it wasn’t clear how many of these songs are religious songs. Overall, the songs are good quality, and we listen to many of them. I think some people of different faiths would not be happy that they ended up paying for something that they wouldn’t listen to.

Yes-there are religious, nursery rhymes, educational, and classic songs. I enjoy the whole album with our little one. As far as other comments about songs being inappropriate-many songs and rhymes are about our history. You really think ring around the rosie is about flowers? It’s raining it’s pouring is left open for interpretation as it never says he actually died. Google it! The album is about being interactive with your kid. They aren’t going to know the difference between a song about the plague, a queen who was a murderer, or a royal overthrow. Just have fun & be goofy with them!

I bought this basically only for "If You're Happy and You Know It" only to find that the third verse tells kids that if they're happy and the know it they should "say amen". Oh, boy. Back to the drawing board.

I am so surprised that such an inappropriate song would be on this kid’s album. I’m talking about it’s raining it’s pouring if you didn’t read the other comments it helped me to realize that this song is about an old man that got hurt in and DIED. Here’s what the lyrics mean if you don’t know he bumped his head got HURT went to bed and couldn’t get up in the morning he DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!😠😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😟😟😟😳😳😳😳😳😳😠😠😠
