I can honestly say that though this album isn't her finest, one of the best songs she has ever written (Wedding Song) is on it. I plan on dancing with my husband to that in July. It speaks to the dreams and hopes of finding her true love and making their future together. Brilliant!

This is the CD that, in my mind, rivals her debut. I have been a Tracy fan since her debut CD. Along with Crossroads, Tracy Chappan and New Beginning, Telling Stories provides consistent brilliance through out. It is a blend of folk, organic rock, a bif of dance (believe it or not). Stand out songs: Telling Stories - great start and guitar work It's OK - upbeat - you got to get up and dance Wedding Song - somber and beautiful Devotion - One of my all time favoriate Tracy song. About love, obsession, infatuation, devotion.. You will not be dissapointed.

This album is brilliant. Tracy never ceases to amaze me with her talent. I personally love Telling Stories, Speak the Word, and Wedding Song, and the others are amazing as well. Thank you Tracy for inspiring us all with your insightful music.
