The score itself is great and can be quite enjoyable but I feel the there's not much of a theme. The music seems almost all the same to me and there's no part of it that really stands out as a main title. Hams Zimmer and Danny Elfman's Spiderman scores I think were better with a more reconizable theme - yet still not like the Star Wars or Indiana jones themes by John Williams. Sorry, but I do not recommend completely. A couple songs individually, but not nearly the whole album.

Blandest Superhero movie score ever

For 95% of the movie this score sounds nothing more than a distracting music that is playing over the film. There is no real memorable theme like you get from other superhero movies. However there is this theme that is played by a couple of keys on a piano but that sticks with you in a way that you wish it wouldn't. Its almost borderline irritating when it comes creaping up at certain times through the film. But there is one great part in the score. When Captian Stacy dies and Peter is there with him and he screams there is this great theme that is played with string instruments and that is incredible. The score really helped me feel what Peter was feeling in that moment. I just wish the rest of the score would have had as much as of an impact on me.

James Horner takes his reputation to a whole new level and intermixes his talent with the touch and feel of Thomas Newman. A fantastic album!!! A remarkable feat by Horner. I look forward to some new tracks in the sequel!!

To start off not only I love the Amazing Spider Man but this music has so much into it and it matches the theme of this movie. I enjoy Sam Raimi trilogy's in the previous films and love this one even MORE. Peter in this film is more into the character than Tobey Maguire. Like I said I love them all except the previous film Spider Man 3 that ruined the whole franchise. Can't wait for the Amazing Spider Man 2 in 2014 💕
