These guys are 60 year old brits - I'm not buying it, no way :-) This album is an up-to-date Wang Chung album, it's no warmed over retrospective, no tribite to days gone by, it's full volume flat out. Play at number 11.

I recently discovered this album even after it came out a while ago and it was totally worth it. Did not take long for most of the song to grow on me.
  • Every Bit As Good As Their “80”s Releases...

I remember hearing “Dance Hall Days” when it was a hit on the radio in the early ’80’s, thinking that these guys had a remarkably lush, well-recorded sound that really stood out from the rest of the New Wave music of that time. But they were more than just a great sounding band: they had intricate composition and arrangements in every piece of music they released in the years following “Points On the Curve”. They even recorded a great soundtrack album for “To Live and Die in L.A.”, earning the praise of William Friedkin, the film’s renowned director along the way. Oh, and they knew how to make a song stick in your head. Now, many years later, I was lucky enough to discover this new album (albeit 18 months late). These guys are amazing! Every song is strong, and the vocals sound the same as they did 30 years ago. I like how another reviewer put it: this is a “modern new wave” album, but I think it could just as easily have been released in their heyday in the mid-’80’s. Well done, and thanks for releasing another great work after all these years. You guys still have every bit of what you had way back when!

What a great surprise to find this (relatively) new release from Wang Chung, and then to quickly snap up 4 or 5 tracks from it. I will probably end up completing the album, because there is some really great stuff on here. Welcome back, guys.

It has been a year since Wang Chung's latest release, and I still find myself enjoying this creative and unique album almost daily. Jack and Nick amazingly continue to capture that Wang Chung sound, and manage to tackle almost every genre of popular music along the way. Truly their most varied and daring album to date!

Great band, but where is a real drummer laying down the back beat?

Whether you're a long time fan or just enjoy well crafted pop music, you will love this album. The classic Wang Chung sound is intact, but with clever combinations of modern textures along with wonderfully retro flourishes.

If you liked their old stuff you will love this, if you missed the old stuff you will not be disappointed. Accomplished and smart

Great Album! This is not some 80's redo. This is modern New Wave. I'm glad your back and I hope you stay! I can't wait for the next album.
