Not Janet Jackson’s best, but still lots of good tunes

I listened to this one right after All For You, which I absolutely loved, and while this album had a bunch of good tunes, it couldn’t compare.
While I liked the carefree feeling of this album, which Janet was trying to portray, I also had conflicting opinions.
I felt that the carefree feeling sort of infiltrated the songs into falling in this repetitive line of sound, and subject, and I didn’t feel completely satisfied by the ending of the album. It felt like there were still loose ends that needed to be tied up. I just didn’t get the story of which the album was trying to portray like her others. It felt unclear to me. It just seemed much rather like lots of sex and one song about positivity and living life. Not to say that the album wasn’t good or of good quality. I will definitely be listening to the songs later. But as for something deeper and more profound, that I usually expect for Janet, it was here except in Intro 20 and Enjoy. I rated it four stars because of the sound and the overall awesome Janet Jackson rhythm. I would still recommend this album, but I would go out recommending The Velvet Rope or All For You first.

This album is just like the rest. Fun, sexy, energetic and funky. Janet can never do wrong.

This album came out in 2006, & it was amazing (still is) I don't think I took the CD out of my car for 8 months. Janet has always been one of the best, & I'm so happy she's back after 7 years.

This is an outstanding album! Janet uses a new futuristic hip hop/r&b sound to make a desired album that in my opinion was probably the best of 2006!
