Sublime

This is music that you'll want to listen to without distractions if possible, not in the car or where other noises and distractions are present. My only criticism is the recording quality in a few spots, other than that an out-of-this-world experience.
An emotional experience

All it took was one listen through the album to fall in love. The combination between The Sixteen and the music of Tomas Luis de Victoria is absolutely unbelievable. I don't have the words to describe what I am hearing. Loved the first songs, then I got to the Requiem. It didn't take long for me to become emotional while listening to it. The Sixteen is amazing. If you love the Victoria, like I do, then this album is a must have! Even if you just love listening to Renaissance choral music, buy this album! You will never regret it!
Wonderfully Executed and Interpreted

Harry Christophers & The Sixteen have hit this one right on the mark; the beautifully flowing sounds that the ensenble is capable of producing do a great justice to some of Victoria's finest works, with the Funeral Motet being one of the best I have heard. Though there are some occasional discrepancies within the structure of the vocalization, such errors do not detract from the overall experience. A must for anyone interested in a masterfully performed choral mass.
