This album is so fresh. It's stripped away from all the booming techno. I love hearing Macy like this because it showcases her as a defined artist to the music industry.

The Way is probably Macy Gray’s best work in a long time and refers back to her first few albums. “Hands” is one super-catchy pop song, that I hope it gets the airplay it deserves, while “The Way” is quite powerful and aptly carries the album’s title. Loving it — she’s certainly back to her 'true form'!

With all the fluff out there these days, it is such a treat to find a special album like this one. It's how music was/should be done.

Honestly Macy keeps getting better. And thankfully she is still rewarding fans with new albums. This is a killer album. If you're a fan, get it! If you're curious - get it.

Macy reinvented herself in every album, most of the song are amazing! cheerful, mellon and jazzie vibe... my favourites are Hands, Stoned, First time and I need you now
