You'll nver guess how I discoverd this CD. I bought it from Weird Al Yankovic's website - because Jim West plays guitar in Al's band so Al promoted his album.
This music is incredible, don't think of the old 60's steel guitar and ukelele. I play this for extremely talented guitar players in Nashville and they are blown away. Then they put their guitars back in ther cases and look at their fingers and say "Why can't you do that?"
This is relaxing without being sleepy.
Calming withot being depressing.
Exotic without being strange.
Happy without being silly.
Give this a try if you like Pat Matheny, Acoustic Allchemy, or Nickel Creek. If you like all of those then you've got go for it.
