I stumbled upon Ruston’s upcoming album when I was browsing through twitter. And oh boy am I glad I did. This album is great. Gave it a full listen this morning when it came out. There are no skips. Ruston has a new fan. I’m going to go explore his old catalogue now.

I'm very sorry that Ruston had to have the struggles and fears that he had in his life, but I'm so grateful that he's tackled them and creates such beautiful lyrics and melodies for us to listen to. THIS is music. Dying Star is music. Dirt Emo Vol 1. is music. True, stripped, guttural, vulnerable, inspirational, strong.... His music (and his harmonies) goes right into my bones and right into my soul and sets it souring. Thank you, Ruston. A forever fan.

I am so happy Ruston has put out what appears to be another exceptional album. I have no idea how this guy goes on tour selling tickets for less than $25 - he should be selling out much larger venues at twice the cost. I am only thankful I can afford to go see him! The lyrics and sounds coming off this album sound true Ruston and I can’t wait for more songs to be released. Thank you for putting out such great music!!
