Everyone should be listening to Jon Batiste’s beautiful music right now. I just downloaded everything I could. He’s funny, he’s hopeful, and brings so much play and sensitivity to the sounds he creates. He and Cory Wong made some magical sounds that are transporting and elevating. Listen and love.

I’m a huge fan of all of the musicians involved in this project and I was NOT expecting this. With all of the hurt that the world is experiencing right now, this is exactly what I needed today for some solace. It may be a somber album, but it is also gorgeous beyond words.
