Yes, modern alt has lost its way, and even as I write the review it gets worse. Yes, looking through the reviews I see hate and some positive reviews, for me this album Perfectly fits the 4 star. Sure it maybe hallow and empty compared to Green Day etc, but It’s is at least true to what I believe is alt. Not rock nor pop, but some where in between. For you to give it a one, two star review is justifiable, but isn’t right. Listen to the charts of modern Alt music, no offense, but it is trash. (Excluding AJR) so compared to other music this is pretty good.
