This album’s ode to 70s soul and funk is an admirable and ambitious project done well. I’m 53 so this is my era in terms of the songs I grew up on with such groups as The ChiLites, Rose Royce, the Delfonics, and many others - not to mention their great remake of ConFunkShun’s Love Train. Each song’s composition and arrangement sounds as if they were thoughtfully done and doesn’t come off like a bad caricature of classic soul. I purchased the whole album. Keep it coming Silk Sonic!

I love this project by Bruno Mars! Even though the tunes are similar to the sounds of yesteryear, the sounds are relevant and fresh today! Need to do another project like this! There are so many wonderful sounds from "the good ole days" that I would love to see updated with a new fresh sound! Not to change any of the classics, just bring back that 70s, 80s and 90s sound!
