This album shows just how amazing they are. It has been so hard for the band and all of their fans since Chester had passed. He was one of a kind for sure. Emily’s voice is outstanding and people come to hard down on her. She’s not replacing Chester, just carrying his legacy. Emily is incredible and we need to show her support. This album is amazing and I thank Linkin Park so much for all the music they bring. Thank you so much for the best music in history ❤️
  • Not Chester, but not bad

I gave this a bad review once. Had to rewrite it. I didn’t want to like this album. I heard the singles on the radio constantly. After hearing them so much the songs just grew on me. I ended up purchasing the album. It really isn’t bad. Sure it’s not Chester. He left us all. Would he want his talented bad to not carry on? No, I’m sure he’d want them to go on without him. His replacement isn’t him but she does the bands sound justice. Been a Linkin Park fan since the beginning. The sound is still them. This new voice works for the sound. Haters just give it a chance. I did. Didn’t want to like it but I do. Btw Emily Armstrong isn’t a new singer. She’s been in this industry for years. Look up Dead Sara. Great band. She is a great choice for the bands sound. I mean would you like it more with a male singer replacing Chester? Doubtful. She works for this bands sound.

We the people that can’t support LP anymore are the fans that were in love with them. But when he died we still loved them. But when the new singer came. We don’t love them anymore. The end of LP has to come. The fans that rate 5 stars are people who either: 1 never heard the old LP 2 Never liked the old LP 3 Wants to support LP no matter

The music that is in the album is still at the heart Linkin Park. The lyrics, instrumentals, and everything else is still at the heart LP. Obviously you can’t get that same vocals that Chester gave us, but Emily Armstrong still gives us an AMAZING new sound from LP. Ignore all the trolls that say the album isn’t good because the entire album is AMAZING. I’ve been a fan of LP since Hybrid Theory and Zero is still LP.

But not Chester, over all it was good but not the best, Mike Shinoda is the Goat.
  • This is a happy sounding Linkin Park

The reason the band was big initially was because it captured a mood, an intensity; this album is antithetical to their own identity; the drums are bouncy and the vocals, while good, aren’t intense. And selling new kinds of albums under an old name just doesn’t work. It is a branding issue.
  • I am a fan of linkin park because of the new album

Long time fan. They were my go to band when I was in high school. ( 21 years ago) and I’ve followed them throughout everything. No one can be Chester. But Emily is an amazing vocalist, and this album reminds me so much of some of the first albums they did. Don’t listen to the tolls. It’s worth a listen.
