I’m admittedly biased in that this was the first full recording of the Four Seasons that I ever heard. Having said that, I still have not heard it’s equal. Being from Minnesota (USA), where we enjoy and endure all four seasons in force, no other recording seems to capture as well the subtlety of the what the concertos communicate about the feelings of each season - winter in particular, which is almost always overdone, even by otherwise very accomplished violinists.
Brilliant, deep, resonant interpretation of this most exciting piece of baroque music

I've listened to many different recordings of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and this is the top of the heap.
The pacing is superb, never rushed but always precise and emotionally involving. Of course, the accelerando in the Winter "Allegro non molto" knocks me out each time I hear it. Brilliant!
best version!!!

Perhaps my favorite recording of this piece. I was glad to find it on iTunes.
