I remember my parents, and the whole world of Southern US got swept up in this smooth, classy, tunes... everywhere... It is amazing that this beautiful style has gotten lost over the years. It reminds me of those softer, gentler, more sophisticated lives where the the backdrop to every cocktail party, yacht race, shopping and the rest of the civilized world felt these songs were written and soothingly sung for them. They were. They help remind us of the wonderful humanity that we are. Thankfully, they were so humbly brought to our memory in the movie "Eat, Love, Pray."
