This was my first ever Broadway show - I fell in love with Brian Stokes Mitchell, Marin Mazzie and all of this cast. The orchestrations are spot on and the humor never flags - 'Brush Up Your Shakespeare' never fails to bring a grin. And I dare anyone to listen to 'Too Darn Hot' without your toes tapping, if you don't jump up and start dancing first!
Wonderful!

I absolutely love Cole Porter, and this is a favorite show of mine in general. What adds to the perfection is the fact that Brian Stokes Mitchell and Marin Mazzie are Lilli and Fred. A lovely Ragtime reunion to make an incredibly beautiful album.

Cole Porter is an excellent lyricist. This is well sung and well orchestrated. An excellent recording.

Having been a part of a stage production of Kiss me Kate, I found this soundtrack of the songs invaluable. While ‘Another openin, another show’, ‘Kiss me Kate’, ‘Too darn hot’, ‘We open in Venice’, ‘Cantiamo D’amore’, ‘I’ve come to wive it wealthy in Padua’, ‘Pavane’, and ‘Bianca’ were required for the my part in the show, I found myself listening to the others just as much. ‘Tom, Dick or Harry’ is especially a favourite. The show is coming to a close but my love of this soundtrack is not. 5 stars!

Yay! I love this album! My favorites are Wundebar, Too Darn Hot, Always True to You. . . , So In Love, I Hate Men and of course, Tom, Dick, or Harry! Please buy these songs but I do not recommend buying the whole album because not all of the songs are good. So yeah, buy these songs- yay! : )

This version of Kiss Me Kate is arguably the best soundtrack out there right now. Marin Mazzie is absolutely wonderful in the song So In Love and I Hate Men, and Brian Stokes Mitchell's strong baritone voice resounds throughout the song Were Thine That Special Face and Where is the Life That Late I Led? Kiss Me Kate has some great songs. May I also recommend buying the DVD of the production with Rachel York and Brent Barrett.

Brian Stokes Mitchell, Marin Mazzie, and others have revived one of the greatest musicals of all time. Cole Porter would be proud! Brian Stokes Mitchell has the power behind Fred Graham's character and voice. Marin Mazzie puts Lilli Vanessi's relationship with Fred on MANY levels and has wonderful energy along with the entire chorus. Our school did "Kiss Me, Kate" and definetely took pointers from this recording, I FULLY recommend it!
