This album won the Best Album award at the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawaiian music awards) in 2003. It also won Best Duo or Group, Best Haku Mele, Best Hawaiian Album, and Best Hawaiian Language Performance. I never tire of listening to the vocals on this album. They are truly beautiful. One thing not mentioned in the reviews is the quality of the instrument work on this album. The guitar and ukulele performances are very good and add to the beauty of the tremendous vocal harmonies.

A Na Palapalai classic. Their sound is so sweet, their Hawaiian language interpretation so right on. This is my favorite Hawaiian music group, The tempo makes you just want to get up and dance!

This trio is awesome! I haven't heard music like this since I was a kid, when an ukulele and a guitar and aunty and uncle and tutu jammed in the backyard at pau hana time with friends and neighbors late into the evening. To anyone who has fond memories of these times, Na Palapalai will rekindle those memories and more. I am simply thrilled to see a young generation of three recapture the old Hawaiian music, as it ought to be, and revive it with such a beautiful blend of voices. This album is a "must have."
