This is an amazing kirtan album! Groovy yet traditional. I love it from beginning to end. My whole studio is jamming To it now! Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful CD. I absolutely love it !! I love his version of Ra Ma da Sa and I absolutely love his song Same Sun. His beautiful message speaks to everyone. We are one...one world, one family...One love in every heart. So inspiring !!

Sky of the Heart, Girish’s sixth album, offers the listener a gently sumptuous song in prayer. The music is magnetic, mesmerizing and I find myself listening and sharing again and again. There is variety in the musical styles – some reggae, some country gospel, a bit of mellow rap – but all the songs share a sweetness and poignancy that expresses the heart of a seasoned and nuanced artist. The sequence, lyrics and compositions convey a tender and gracious acceptance of the measured joy and gentle heartbreaks that a mature soul has lived.

Another beautiful CD from the hugely talented Girish! It’s everything you need in one small package. Foot tapping, easy beats, calming mantras and songs that will make you dig out your dancing shoes- Sky of The Heart has it all. As with all his music, I can put on a CD and write my whole yoga class around his thoughtful lyrics, it’s easy on my clients ears and energizing for me as an instructror. Conversely, I can listen in my car on my ride home and lose myself in the wholesome sophistication of the music. Once home, my daughter is bopping to a Girish tune and the dialogue opens once again; explaining lyrics, considering metaphors and diving into the richness of so many new sounds. This guy never stops re-inventing the magic. Every album is perfect and complete. Every album is unique and exciting. We waited a long time for Sky of the Heart- and it was worth it. Now we can’t wait for the next offering!
