The Resolution

Okay I absolutly love this video and JM and obveesly he wouldn't have gone thru with the video if it wasn't what he wanted and fit the "meaning of the song" okay so BACK OFF

The video does nothing for the song. The song by itself is a work of art(so if you don't have it, get it, its so worth it), the video is useless.

Okay, 1st of all, let me just say that I am not a fan of Twilight and Stephanie Meyer. Really not my thing. And when I found out that Stephanie Meyer had directed this, I wasn't too thrilled. But against my better judgment, I LOVE this music video. It's beautifully done and really captures the song. I don't care that Stephanie Meyer did it, it's just amazing!

None of you see what stephenie did. She actually LISTENED to the song, understood what the lyrics meant. He is running from something, and it keeps finding him. He can hear her voice(mermaid). He is running away from love.

Jack's mannequin is an amazing band and they have such an awesome sound. Love the song but the video just doesn't fit.

this is basically turning into a twilight vs. JM message board or something. base your review on the MUSIC, not the DIRECTOR. it really doesn't matter who the director was....personally, i liked it, but it could have been much better. And stop being dumb and complaining that all the twilight fans are going to start loving JM now just because SM does. everyone has their own taste in music. get over yourselves.

I have to be honest, I'm a completely obsessed Twilight fanatic, but I love Jack's Mannequin. I'm not one of those people who just saw this because of stephenie meyer. I know that this might not be the best video, but its was just something Stephenie Meyer tried. It was just a different experience for her that she wanted to try, and was probably flattered that they wanted her to direct a music video. Even though it didn't get many good reveiws from people, its kinda harsh to put her down just for trying something new.

I know alot of people are saying that most people only like this vid because it was diracted by the writer of "twilight" but even if this is true it is still an amazing vid and if you pay attention you will see how it really fits the song. Plus I have to say the fist time I watched I loved and I did not even know that it was driected by Stephenie Meyer

Jack's Mannequin is amazing. S. Meyer introduced me with her inclusion of "Dark Blue" in the "Breaking Dawn" playlist. :-) However, the most I listen the more I fall in love. This is amazing talent. But not so much with this video Song is A++ (one of my favorites on the CD) Video is C-

You had to really pay attention to the video to understand the meaning. It was wonderful, beautiful, and deep. Bravo, Stephenie.
