Rite Here Rite Now (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

I’ve always liked Ghost, especially their live stuff. This had great potential if they could’ve left things alone and made this a standard concert film. Instead they chose to screw up the show with Forge running off the stage every three minutes talking to his dead father and crippled mother while the band was still performing. Going offstage for a costume change is fine but to focus on that instead of the band performing is stupid. This would have easily been a 5 star concert video…hopefully they learn from this and leave the concert footage as is without cutting it to pieces next time. You’re better off buying a bootleg concert instead of this garbage.

I'm a new fan, definetly one of the best new bands in decades. looking forward to the next tour. They really know how to put on a great show!!

All of their music is just plain awful. And why is it in the metal section? Should be in pop with the rest of the trash.

I was lucky enough to be at the Forum on Tuesday when they shot a lot of the film. The album brings me right back to standing in the crowd. Love the psychedelic rock vibes of The Future is a Foreign Land and it’s got me excited for new material. A bit sad to not have older stuff than Meliora but my personal preference tends to favour Prequelle and Impera. So if that’s more your jam then you’re definitely in for a real treat. But seriously Ghost is the best!

Poseurs who don’t even come close to being competent.

The backing vocals really pop. I miss a few of the songs from the tour, but the serious bangers are all there. If you have ghosts is elevated with strings and an ethereal vocal, and Twenties gets the live treatment it deserved on tour.

Slightly upset that they didn’t include songs from albums before Meliora since the film had such incredible renditions of “Per Aspera Ad Inferi” and “Ritual.” Still this is a great live album.

Truly, this guy is amazing. He completely writes, choreographs, and runs every show right down to the banter with the crowd between songs. Several techs on tour with them have said this is the EASIEST show they’ve ever worked. Everything is thought out and pre planned. Power up - push play - sit back job done till shows over. Tobias is the master of this orchestra, the rest are hired help to his genius. Well deserved kudo’s.

I love that Tobias is not afraid to go outside the box, while staying inside the box. He does a lot of things that have been done before..... But with Ghost flair.
