Ghost are what they are now, Pop Metal. Nothing heavy about them at all, enjoy it for what it is. So far this seems to be the weakest of any material they have released. Prequelle was Beethoven compared to this and probably their peak but still have great potential to be heavy as Forge has been teasing since Prequelle, Little Sunshine for example, heavier but melodic.

Both of the singles are incredible, can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

Regarding the first 2 songs I am noticing a theme from Ghost in terms of musical style. They are combining some newer sounds with the older “riff” heavy we have come to know and love. The choruses are extremely catchy and the riffs honestly have been really good. If that is any indication of what the rest of the album will bring I am very excited.

I feel comfortable preemptively giving the entire album five stars because so far the first two singles have been amazing. I genuinely don’t think they have a bad song and as a long time fan I keep waiting for a bad one to drop but it hasn’t happened yet and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen with this album either. Love it

Love watching and listening to the continual evolution of Ghost. One of few bands to bring bombastic music and stagecraft back to life and give a fan something to care about and anticipate with excitement. They are honestly getting me through the Terrible Twenties! Satanized is a great singalong w funny lyrics and a great shredding guitar. Can’t wait for the rest of the album!

Garbage 🗑️

It seems people hate them because they are labeled as metal but really are not. It’s the look that people consider metal. I love everything about them but the satanic stuff, however a deeper look reveals that they are making fun of the Catholic Church, and rightfully so. All in good fun. The new track isn’t bad but I’m willing to bet there are much better songs on the album. I have the date marked on my calendar.

This band is the best thing I’ve heard in the last 15 years. Not a single song on any album is bad. Their tunes burrow their way into your skull and nest there for all eternity. The new track, Satantized, is but their latest banger. So good!

If the rest of this pre-ordered upcoming Ghost masterpiece is as good as the track Satanized, with that driving beat, spooky chanting in Latin and bombastic guitar bit, it will serve to prove that yes, fans should feel proud of having snared Ritual (concert) tickets even before the new LP was released. Predicting many sold out shows if Skeleta, in its entirety, is as phantastic as I think it will be.
