my favorite types of metal are nu metal groove metal industrial metal and the heavy stuff.. and i got to say this album has all of that except for an industrial sound, anyway ignore the negative reviews on this album every song on it is absolutly amazing, and the burning red in my opinion is better. i wish itunes had the digipak version of this album it has hole in the sky and ten fold on it.
Now this is what The Burning Red should have been......

The Burning Red was a controversial release from Machine Head. Criticized for its more commercial sound, it was a question of whether or not the band would return to its roots on their next album. They didn't. Well, sort of. The nu metal-influence is still here on Supercharger, but it was made heavier and a little groovier. The album is the most diverse effort the band has released to date. Get it if you are a true Machine Head fan.
Wow, what garbage

By far the worst album I've ever purchased. What is this, white guy raps for heavy metal? I don't think so.
by far their worst

I'm not sure if the record company or their producer pushed them to do this or if Machine Head themselves decided to go for a different approach, but coming from a 17-year old guy who hates rap, this album is a pretty terrible attempt at rapping. (Listen to American High and you'll see what I mean.) Even though this album is not perfect and there is some filler (Brown Acid) and, like I said earlier, bad attempts at rapping, the beats, guitar riffs, and even Rob Flynn's singing make up for that. Even though this album is a "White-Knuckle Black-Out and adrenaline rush" despite some of it flaws, let's hope these guys don't go back to the nu-road and stick with the tru-road like they did with the Blackening.
Sick album

Bulldozer is a really good song, but Robb should never rap. Without the rapping this is a 3 star album. Some of these songs almost sound like Papa Roach would've wrote them.
Bulldozer crushes all.
