The Villager’s first two albums both got nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize and unfortunately didn’t win. This is the best Villager’s album by far! I’m hoping “Darling Arithmetic” will get nominated yet again for the Mercury Prize and this time will win it. I don’t know which albums will be competing for the coveted prize this year, but I’m hard pressed to think I’ll like any of them more than this album. Unbelievably good!!!
