Who would have thought K.D. had this in her, one of the best songs ever.....no, really ever.

Everywhere you went the year this came out, and I do mean everywhere, someone was playing either "Craving" or "Chatelaine." They became the theme songs of that year, and yet, no matter how many times you heard either of them, you never stopped loving and being amazed by them. They remain lang's two masterpieces, although some later tracks, like her awesome cover of "Helpless," come pretty close. They were so amazing that they overshadowed the rest of the LP, which doesn't have a bad or weak track on it. In fact, it's one of those rare albums that's pretty much flawless. Simply the best female voice and song interpreter of contemporary pop music, unrivaled until the rise of Adele, who will still have to develop a long way to match this.

I love this album. Rarely is there an album in which every cut is excellent but this one measures up. Hats off to you K. D. Lang. Thankyou!!

This recording is probably the best overall effort by an incredibly gifted vocalist. Credit must be given to Ben Mink, who wrote much of the material, plays soulful acoustic guitar, and produced the tracks. There is a cabaret feel to the songs, not the Liza Manelli kind, but rather the feel of an artist singing soulfully of love, loss, and longing. It is provocative, relaxing, emotional, and beautiful music and lyrics. This bears close listening, yet is perfect music for a candlelight dinner or an evening in front of a fireplace. Worth the money and as many rating stars you could give it!

In Constant Craving, K.D. draws you in with a haunting seductive kiss of song. A rare part of it is one never tires of the song. So know that she gives you something more when you search your soul to find your constant craving!!!
